Evening Primrose Oil 1000mg

Evening Primrose is a plant native to North America, but also grows in Europe and parts of the Southern Hemisphere. It has yellow flowers that bloom in the evening. 

Evening Primrose Oil (EPO) is particularly known for being rich in the omega-6 polyunsaturated fatty acids linoleic acid (LA), which makes up about 70-74% of the oil, and gamma-linolenic acid (GLA), which accounts for another 8-14%. These are considered essential fatty acids, meaning the body needs them for health but cannot produce them on its own. 

Each capsule contains:
Evening Primrose Oil 1000 mg
- providing GLA 95 mg 

Other ingredients: Gelatine, Glycerine and Vitamin E.

Suggested usage:
Take one (1) softgel capsule three times daily, or as prescribed by your healthcare practitioner.

Consult your health care practitioner before taking this or any other product. Nutritional supplements should not replace a balanced diet. Keep out of reach of children. Store in a dry place below 25°C. Discontinue the use of this product where there is sensitivity towards any of the ingredients.

Use this product under the supervision of your health care practitioner if you suffer from epilepsy. If you are using blood-thinning medication, such as warfarin, consult your health care practitioner before using this product. Pregnant and breastfeeding women should avoid using this product. High doses have been known to cause nausea. Reduce the dose immediately.
