Ginger Root 250mg

Ginger root extract is derived from the root of the herb Zingiber Officinale, which grows widely in southwest India. It is considered helpful as a preventative for motion sickness, nausea, morning sickness and as a digestive tonic. Ginger root extract can help the digestive process by breaking down proteins. It alleviates nausea and morning sickness by relaxing stomach muscles.

Each capsule contains:
Ginger Root Extract (4:1) 250 mg
(the equivalent of Ginger root 1000mg)

Other ingredients: Gelatine (Bovine), Microcrystalline Cellulose, Magnesium Stearate, Silica.

Suggested usage:
For morning sickness, take one (1) capsule up to four (4) times a day if necessary.
For general nausea take four (4) capsules for relief, or as prescribed by your healthcare practitioner.

If you have a chronic heart condition, consult your health care practitioner before using ginger. Individuals using blood thinning, medication, such as warfarin should only use ginger under the supervision of their health care practitioner. Diabetics using medication to control their blood sugar levels should use ginger under the supervision of their health care practitioner. Individuals using calcium-channel blockers to control high blood pressure should speak to their health care practitioner before using ginger. Safe for use by pregnant & breastfeeding women. High doses (more than 5g) can cause abdominal discomfort, heartburn, diarrhea and irritation of the mucous membranes of the mouth and throat, reduce the dose immediately.
